TIMING OF THE HERD
NOV 2024
Thank you, Kathy Todd, for asking me to paint during this event. What a blessing it has been. The speakers have been wonderful. We are honored to have them here. Thank you Pastor David, for allowing the Holy Spirit to flow through different individuals in different ways in this house, including art.
When Kathy asked me to paint, I began praying and asking the Lord what He wanted me to do. I originally saw the painting with the lion, “Standing on the Teeth,” but I could see swirls in the background. Kathy relayed seeing this whirlwind. As I prayed, I could see a whirlwind, but I didn’t just want to see this out of association. I wanted to be sure it was God, so I asked for confirmation. Regina Collins prayed for me and the Lord began downloading more … He separated the two images very clearly in my mind and confirmed the whirlwind as He showed it swirling inside an hour glass with light breaking through. I heard “Timing of the ‘Herd’” … it was God’s timing with this whirlwind … but I also felt like He was doing a wordplay with the word “Herd” and hearing … like a timing of hearing. There is being heard with the ears in this as well a nod to a legal hearing that has been taking place in the heavens.
God then added horses. The horses were pulling and bringing the whirlwind back across a path. Over the next few days I began asking Him about them. I felt like Holy Spirit wanted me to research horses and the Trail of Tears. The "Trail of Tears" was in 1837 when it was ordered under Andrew Jackson's 1830 Indian Removal Act. The Cherokee, Choctaw, Chickasaw, and the Creeks were horse breeders. The Chickasaw, Cherokee, and Choctaw rode these horses on the Trail of Tears to the Oklahoma Indian Territory. Until 1800, the chief source of supply of horses to the Indians east of the Mississippi was the Spanish Missions. The Trail of Tears brought these specific types of horses to Oklahoma where they began breeding them there.
It felt like God was showing me these horses bringing the whirlwind on the reverse path of the Trail of Tears. It was like the curse of the Trail of Tears, which has origins in Georgia, was reversed and so the horses could run that path back from Oklahoma. Lynn Alderson then shared with me how they have been praying with the Return of the Chiefs that encompasses tribes along the trail from Oklahoma. She also said they were just recently in Oklahoma where Kathy Todd saw the whirlwind. Pastor David and Elena McLendon also came to Statesboro from Oklahoma.
Several people came up while I was painting and added prophetic insight. Carol Elkins said the horses in front had wider set eyes, which meant they were wild. The one in the back had closer set eyes, meaning it was domesticated. She said the wild ones came first to break open the gate. Then Regina Collins came up and said she saw the whirlwind as individual disks as if these individual people with DNA that needed to come together as one. She and I prayed the people would become aligned with God’s DNA to be a unified Body of Christ. The Lord then reminded of what Anthony Turner said about sitting on his granddaughter, but not putting his full weight on her. How when someone is older and more mature, they can handle more weight. This weight was like God’s glory for the individual. I felt like God said … “now imagine the weight that a body unified together as one could carry.”
The Lord then reminded me of the first painting I ever painted for New Covenant Church about ten years ago. Pastor David said he heard the word “Spirit Quake,” and the Lord layered this painting for it during the service. There are two white horses on either side of a Spirit Quake coming out of the spiritual well of the church. The horses were wisdom and experience on one side and youth and vitality on the other … generations together. The people were bringing healing and breaking strongholds. The Spirit Quake represented the release of this out into the land. God highlighted to me how in that first painting He would not let me paint the eyes in the horses because they could not yet see. In this painting (The Timing of the Herd), however, the horses have their eyes opened to see. Later, Rebecca Greenwood prayed for people’s eyes to be open and for leaves of healing for the nations. The Lord confirmed for me why the eyes had been closed in the original painting, and in His timing, were now opened.
Finally, the Lord was showing me lightening flashing from the sky … this lightening would break the hourglass and shoot forth into the land as a ground breaker when the whirlwind of glory arrived. This morning God connected it for me … When His lightening hits the ground, the ground shakes, the ground breaks … and when the ground shakes and breaks, it is like an earthquake … or, in this case, a Spirit Quake that releases the glory out into the region through his people.
Zech. 9:14
Then the LORD will be seen over them, And His arrow will go forth like lightning. The Lord GOD will blow the trumpet, And go with whirlwinds from the south.
Thank you so much Father for what You are doing. I give you all the honor and praise. I pray You will show others more through this painting and that it will always point to you.
