BREAKTHROUGH

While praying for people to have breakthrough and deliverance in their lives, I saw this image of a purple lion, horses running through water, and arrows being released. The Lord directed me to look up scriptures with arrows in them and I was led to 2 Samuel 22:15 – 20.

He sent out arrows and scattered them;
Lightning bolts, and He vanquished them.
Then the channels of the sea were seen,
The foundations of the world were uncovered,
At the rebuke of the Lord,
At the blast of the breath of His nostrils.

“He sent from above, He took me,
He drew me out of many waters.
He delivered me from my strong enemy,
From those who hated me;
For they were too strong for me.
They confronted me in the day of my calamity,
But the Lord was my support.
He also brought me out into a broad place;
He delivered me because He delighted in me.        

May the Lord draw those who are seeking breakthrough out of many waters and deliver them. May they be reminded that the Father God delivers us because He delights in us. This is the expression of the Father in the lion … He rescues us out of His deep love for His children. Thank you, Father, that you are our great defender, our great deliverer, and our stronghold in times of trouble. Thank you that you see us right where we are and are never far away from us. Thank you that you sent the Holy Spirit as our helper and our guide. In Jesus’ name, amen.

         May the Lord show you more through this than He showed me. May it bless you and point you towards the Father.
