SHALOM - STANDING ON TEETH
I saw Jesus with the Bride of Christ holding a sword of the Spirit together …
Ephesians 6:17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
It felt like God was saying, “I am teaching My Bride how to wield the sword of the Spirit.” Notice, this wielding did not come apart from Jesus, but was intimately tied to being with Him. Apart from Him, she could wield nothing.
John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
With Jesus, He guided every stroke, every strategy, every nuance, every flick of the sword. He did not just guide her hand, but He guided her heart and her mouth as well. She learned to speak what was on His heart as He whispered it in her ear. As He was teaching her, she kept her eyes forever on Her beloved Groomsman, Jesus (Hebrews 12:2).
Finally, I saw a lion roaring … this was also emphasizing the mouth and speaking. The Lord began emphasizing the lion’s teeth to me … then I saw Jesus and the Bride of Christ standing on the teeth of the lion. I was asking Father about it … what was it about the teeth?
In ancient Hebrew word pictures, the letters for “Shalom” mean more than just “peace.”
Shin - is a picture of strong teeth, and it represents “to destroy”
Lamed - is a picture of a shepherd’s staff, and it represents “authority”
Vav - is a picture of a tent peg, and it represents ”to attach”
Mem - is a picture of water, and it represents “chaos”
Shalom in ancient Hebrew literally means “to destroy the authority attached to chaos.” As the Bride of Christ was wielding the sword of the Spirit with Jesus, they were literally standing on the strong teeth of the Lion of Judah (the Lord) to “destroy the authority attached to chaos” which brings peace. I am also reminded of how much Israel and the surrounding areas need peace right now.
