Lighthouse
NOV 2025
As completion of the new Generations Building takes place for New Covenant, there have been many prophetic voices in the congregation that have been spoken out about the Lord calling our church a lighthouse for the area. As I sat in prayer for the new building with Elena McClendon, I heard the Lord speak regarding “a powerhouse, a lighthouse, and a treasurehouse.” Elena then began praying these three terms out for each of the buildings. The New Covenant current building was like the powerhouse, the Generation’s Building was like the lighthouse, and the new building not yet begun would be like the treasurehouse.
Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
John 1:5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it (some versions say it cannot understand it).
I believe God is calling our church to be a lighthouse to the region, hence the coast line of GA where you see the lighthouse encompassing this area. The Lord also impressed upon me the concept of Him being the vine and how we are the branches. This vine of abiding was wrapped around the lighthouse and was also bringing light through its people. This is also a reflection of the seed that has been placed in the ground by previous generations and what is to come in the next. See John 15:1-17 …
John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
John 15:9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.
John 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. This is my command: Love each other.
I pray the Lord speaks more to you about this and gives you more revelation than He has me. May this painting bless you and bring you closer to Him. May you abide in HIm and may His light shine through you. Our prayer is that our church body, a part of the Bride of Christ, fulfills its calling in the Lord according to His plans and purposes for this region.
