WHAT IS REVIVAL CULTURE?
As a youth we are going through a culture shift. God is establishing a youth missions movement in Statesboro. While we whole-heartedly support missions to all nations, we believe the Holy Spirit is placing urgency on carrying the message of Jesus to our schools and communities. Wednesdays are taking shape as youth missions training. We are pursuing this vision with our current training series - REVIVAL CULTURE.
REVIVAL CULTURE is an active set of values, priorities and practices that are developed and embraced to support and sustain the work of the holy spirit in revival.
STEP ONE: Apply revival culture to our own lives and live it out.
STEP TWO: Carry revival culture wherever we go.

DEFINING REVIVAL CULTURE
“God has been stirring my heart for something greater than what we have been experiencing. I sense there has been a shift and it’s time to refocus to training and equipping you to reach the lost and those far from God. No just the non-believer but those who think they know God but really they only know dead religion. “

CULTURE OF ACTIVE LOVE
Love is one of the primary markers of God sent revival.
Week Two we are looking at the role love has in revival and discovering together how we can carry the love of Jesus to our schools and communities.
“The fact will always remain that revival is not birthed in doctrine, knowledge, understanding or anything of the mind. Love itself is the only force that can bring forth revival. And why is this? Because God is Love!”

CULTURE OF REPENTANCE
Repentance is not about rules, it is about connection with God.
The focus of repentance is not being right. It is coming into communion with the one who is right. Repentance is creating a highway to the Lord. When we resist repentance we resist connection with God. The object of repentance is connection with Jesus.

CULTURE OF CONSECRATION
Consecration - The act of dedicating yourself to the service and worship of God. To make Holy or dedicate to a higher purpose. To be set apart.
We need to let go of everything that is hindering the move of God in our lives. That is how you become set apart, that is how you prepare the way, and that's how revival comes to our nation.
Are we willing to be a generation that rejects everything the world has to offer in order to see revival?

CULTURE OF PRAYER
What is prayer? Why don’t we pray? Why is prayer important in revival? How do we carry prayer wherever we go?
In this lesson we will learn practical ways to implement prayer into your life and share stories that will stir you to intercede for revival.

CULTURE OF COURAGE
What is courage?
Courage - “mental or moral strength to persevere in the face of danger, fear, or difficulty.”
Looking at this definition I think we can all agree that courage is needed for Revival!
In this lesson, we will explore strategies for cultivating courage and resilience in the face of societal pressures that may discourage Christian faith.
